One of the best and longest novel I've ever read!
The librarian asked: "How long you need to finish it?"
I was not sure, so I told her about one month 'cause it has 500 pages.
It was a surprise that I could finish it in 2 weeks^^
Accidentally, I was out on task, so had the chance to concentrate on it without
other allures to disturb.
Basically, it's a science thriller, talking about programmed swarm molecules,
which explicitly designed for medical use but implicitly for military use, that got out of control
and can evolve on its own.
It should be a delight finding to see virtual agents in such a program become real molecules
and function well; yet, the following is way beyond imagination that hardly can anybody
predict how far can these "swarms" go, or how intelligent they can be, so the problems come.
Another surprise for me is that I don't know Michael Crichton is also the author of "Jurassic Park" before reading this novel. If I did, I would have learnd something more about him earlier.
